Ecovative is located in Green Island, NY. Our facilities house our research labs, foundry engineering teams, pilot operations, raw materials plants, mycelium farms, growth chambers, and over 160 team members.
Mushroom Tiny House

MyForest Foods Farm

Over the last year, MyBacon went from one retail outlet to more than 100, and its popularity is only growing. To meet the skyrocketing demand, we built the biggest mycelium farm in the world, big enough to produce a million pounds of bacon a year on a single acre of land.

With the acquisition of a state-of-the-art raw materials facility in the Netherlands, we have expanded the mycelium technology supply chain internationally. Ecovative S&S serves our growing list of brand and production partners, while also supporting existing mushroom farms throughout the region.
Swersey Silos

Ecovative’s headquarters in Green Island, NY got a new landmark in Summer 2022, with the unveiling of the newest and biggest mycelium feedstock processing facility in the world. Swersey Silos takes locally sourced low value plant and forestry inputs and efficiently mixes them with mycelium to produce high value meat and leather alternatives.

Forager Fabrication Lab

This lab is where new mycelium materials are tested with traditional and experimental fabrication techniques, to test their limits and find their ideal product applications. Tensile strength, pliability, interfacing with other materials, and prototype garments, it all starts in the lab with our team of material and fabrication experts.
Pilot Plant

Our Pilot Plant is the proving ground for small to medium-sized production of new mycelial materials. This pivotal ‘pilot-scale’ stage enables us to test and evaluate prototype material performance, determining the potential for scalability and full commercial-scale production.
