Greensulate™ is energy efficient
Greensulate™ is literally grown, not manufactured. We use a growing organism to transform agricultural byproducts, like cotton burrs and rice hulls, into energy-efficient insulation. Our patent pending process is inspired by the efficiency of nature, and uses a filamentous fungi (mushroom roots) to bond seed husks into a strong rigid board. Proper construction with rigid board insulation provides a tighter envelope with fewer thermal bridges which results in a more energy efficient building.

Greensulate™ is safe to touch and can be installed with out any special safety gear. Additionally there are no spores or allergy concerns associated with the use of this material, and Greensulate™ passes ASTM tests for mold growth, water sorption, and vapor transmission. Best of all, Greensulate™ is chemical and VOC (volatile organic compound) free, while still providing a class 1 fire rating.
