At Ecovative, the Human Resource Manager collaborates with organizational leaders to attract amazing talent and develop that talent to continue to support the organization’s mission to envision, develop, produce, and market Earth friendly materials that have a positive impact on our planet’s ecosystem. This position will lead the HR practices and programs that provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes initiative, empowerment, quality, productivity and goal attainment. Essential to the business is for HR to implement effective recruitment and selection practices, coach and advise on employee relations concerns, and create a high efficiency human resource function. This role will ensure employment law compliance, administer and negotiate employee benefits, process payroll, review compensation, and facilitate and/or perform supervisory training.
This position is a combination of a partnership with leadership to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate HR initiatives, as well as the independent execution of daily responsibilities. The HR Manager takes a proactive role in shaping the company culture; the ability to coach and collaborate with others across all levels of an organization is critical.

Ecovative Design is seeking Production Operators to join our amazing team! The Production Operator will primarily be involved in the processing of Ecovative's Mushroom Material, through the various manufacturing stages including production through shipping. The Production Operator will operate various types of machinery, produce and assemble products, and perform tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The Production Operator is also required to maintain an orderly workspace, track production data and maintain documentation, in addition to cleaning the work area, tools, and equipment. The Operator must be diligent with a good eye for detail; both safety and team-oriented, as well as prompt and reliable.
Experience in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on quality controls, safety, and cleanliness is a must. The ability to perform physical labor (packaging, lifting, etc.) is necessary. Computer competency and documentation skills are also needed. The willingness to change/adapt to new processes, procedures, or work requirements will help in day to day operations. Diligence with a good eye for detail through task completion is a must. Consistent work ethic and being proactive, taking the necessary initiative to get the job done, will lead to a successful applicant.
The understanding of aseptic technique and basic biology along with a passion for a sustainable work and life environment is desirable. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and efficiency principles is also an asset. Forklift experience and/or a CDL license are also preferred.Apply Today
Join our Research and Development team and be a part of discovering and advancing our newest material platform, MycoFlex. The Laboratory Technician responsibilities include hands-on execution of experiments, creation of market prototypes, and providing feedback and observations to facilitate scaling of our technology. We are looking for a team player that loves to solve problems and has a can-do attitude.
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies
Associates degree in environmental or life sciences and two years experience working in a lab technician role OR Bachelors degree: exceptional organization skills; attention to detail; strong observational skills; ability to hand mix materials; ability to do labor intensive work for 8 hours, independently driven; team player; ability to creatively problem solve and suggest process improvements, ability to be honest and direct.
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies
Knowledge of aseptic technique; knowledge of mycology and/or experience growing fungus; basic fabrication/carpentry skills; Experience working in a laboratory; Capability and desire to independently design experiments; positive attitude, high energy, natural problem solver.
