Myceliation Production Supervisor

The Myceliation Production Supervisor is responsible for operation of our Myceliation mechanical system and supervision of a team of production operators. We are looking for someone who is quality focused and hands on. This role will work closely with their team, as well as our Part Production team, to make cutting edge Mushroom® Materials.

Minimum requirements

  • Basic equipment troubleshooting, ability to use hand tools
  • Technological aptitude, Computer competency and proficient in MS Office
  • Prior supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to lead a group with confidence and efficiency
  • Operator/Technician experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with an emphasis on quality controls, safety, and cleanliness
  • Ability to perform physical labor (packaging, lifting, etc.) with or without accomodation
  • Willingness to change/adapt to new processes, procedures, or work requirements
  • Be comfortable and confident in quick minute-to-minute decision making
  • Proficient in record-keeping; strong documentation skills; highly organized

  • Prior PLC/touch screen operation experience

    Shipping and Receiving Clerk

    The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will ensure efficient flow of products and materials at Ecovative. This position will require a motivated, organized, hard working team player to perform receiving, shipping and material handling responsibilities.

    Minimum requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years experience in a shipping role
  • Willing to change/adapt to new processes, procedures, or work requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent team player as well as independently motivated to take pride in the work that needs to be done and remain focused on the task at hand
  • Able to use pallet jack
  • Able to stoop, bend, lift, twist on a regular basis; ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience with computer software and ability to adapt to new programs
  • Previous fork lift experience on standup and sit down trucks
  • Driver license and ability to drive standard
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience sending international shipments and preparing customs paperwork

    Laboratory Technician

    Join our Research and Development team and be a part of discovering and advancing new materials to provide sustainable solutions to diverse markets. The Laboratory Technician will work in a supportive role with responsibilities including hands-on execution of experiments, creation of market prototypes, and providing feedback and observations to assist in scaling our technology.

    Minimum requirements

  • Associates degree in environmental or life sciences and two years experience working in a lab technician role OR Bachelors degree; exceptional organization skills; conscientious in the work place; attention to detail; strong observational skills; ability to hand mix materials; independently driven; team player. This role requires repetitive use of hands and arms on a routine basis.
  • Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of aseptic technique; willingness and interest in learning from observation; interest and knowledge of mycology and/or experience growing fungus; basic fabrication/carpentry skills; experience working in a production or kitchen environment. Capability and desire to independently design experiments. Ability to creatively problem solve.

    Production Machine Operator

    The Machine Operator is responsible for running the equipment and machines to create and finish our products. The Operator will also be responsible for collecting and recording quality data as well as performing preventative maintenance.

    Minimum requirements

  • Two years hydraulic press (or similar press) experience. Operator/Technician experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with an emphasis on quality controls, safety, and cleanliness. Ability to perform physical labor (packaging, lifting, etc.). Computer competency. Willingness to change/adapt to new processes, procedures, or work requirements. Diligent with a good eye for detail. Consistent work ethic; be proactive and take necessary initiative to get the job done. Proficient in record-keeping. Flexible hours

    Production Operator

    Research and Development Engineer

    Ecovative is looking for an Engineer with a background in process controls. Working closely with the Engineering team and R&D scientists, this engineer will develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and modify equipment that is utilized by our lab staff to produce Mushroom Materials.

    Minimum requirements

  • Very comfortable working with electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Very comfortable programming and tuning PID controllers
  • Experience making durable electrical connections and cabling
  • Experience with PID controlled systems
  • Experience specifying and installing industrial sensors and controllers
  • Experience working in a machine shop including fabricating brackets, mounts and other simple parts
  • Experience troubleshooting machines
  • PLC and HMI programming experience
  • Able to read, understand, and create electrical diagrams
  • Able to frequently perform work where they will be standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, crawling, reaching, working in tight or awkward locations
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Creative problem solver
  • Strong documentation and organization skills
  • Strong communications skills / teamwork skills

    Accounts Payable Clerk

    Part time position (15 hours per week)

    Gain great experience working in a finance and accounting setting while helping our team ensure complete financial records. The Accounts Payable Clerk will perform administrative functions including mailing, filing, copying, scanning as well as maintain spreadsheets and binders and will contact vendors when necessary.

    Minimum Requirements

    HS Diploma, 6 months clerical experience in an accounting setting, familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, general computer experience, and excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Preferred Requirements

    1 year clerical experience in an accounting setting with a focus on purchasing and accounts payable.
