Ecovative Design is seeking Production Operators to join our amazing team! The Production Operator will primarily be involved in the processing of Ecovative's Mushroom Material, through the various manufacturing stages including production through shipping. The Production Operator will operate various types of machinery, produce and assemble products, and perform tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The Production Operator is also required to maintain an orderly workspace, track production data and maintain documentation, in addition to cleaning the work area, tools, and equipment. The Operator must be diligent with a good eye for detail; both safety and team-oriented, as well as prompt and reliable.
Experience in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on quality controls, safety, and cleanliness is a must. The ability to perform physical labor (packaging, lifting, etc.) is necessary. Computer competency and documentation skills are also needed. The willingness to change/adapt to new processes, procedures, or work requirements will help in day to day operations. Diligence with a good eye for detail through task completion is a must. Consistent work ethic and being proactive, taking the necessary initiative to get the job done, will lead to a successful applicant.

Ecovative Design is seeking to hire a Quality Technician to perform quality control analysis specific related to Ecovative’s critical aspects of production. Quality testing responsibilities will include microscopic analysis, optimization and maintenance of inventory, labeling and organizing stock, and QC checks for biological viability, and quality of shipping environment. Technician will explore and optimize new and existing QC protocols and microscopic explorations of materials. Additional quality projects will include analysis of biological and environmental samples and data, regular communication of assessment results, documentation and report writing, and occasional presentations.
Degree in biological science or related field with biological testing experience; excellent at collecting and organizing large data sets efficiently and effectively with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional record keeping and note taking abilities. Successful candidates are able to communicate concerns proactively as issues arise related to samples, methodology, or data. Must be able to work independently and as a team member, manage task lists and timelines effectively, troubleshoot and resolve simple issues, and effectively communicate scientific methodologies and results. Must be a quick learner and must be flexible to changing needs. Must have proficiencies with basic math, MS Excel, Google Docs, and relevant computer applications. Candidates must have some biological background and experience with aseptic technique, culturing and microscopy and be familiar with the scientific process.

The Test Technician will work in support of the Quality department to evaluate materials for key metrics and ensure our materials meet customer expectations. The Technician will measure parts, make observations and operate an Instron machine system to test parts for various characteristics. This role will also enhance the Quality department by exploring new testing methods and procedures.
The Machine Operator is responsible for running the equipment and machines to create and finish our products. The Operator will also be responsible for collecting and recording quality data as well as performing preventative maintenance.
The Shipping and Receiving Lead will ensure efficient flow of products and materials at Ecovative. This position will require a motivated, organized, hard working team player to perform receiving, shipping and material handling responsibilities. The position will be responsible for both the administrative responsiblities as well as the hands on work of preparing and recieving packages/freight.
The Materials Processing and Research Technician will operate equipment to process raw materials as well as create prototypes to inform raw material selection for product development.
